About Us.

The Meister Company is a family owned and operated business that got it's start in 1995 in the "Avocado Capitol Of The World", Fallbrook, California, situated in the beautiful rolling hills of North San Diego county. It was formed as a partnership between Christine Meister and a co-founder. It was originally named Impact Sales Group.

The partnership was dissolved in 2001 and we became The Meister Company. Our first customer was the Marine Corps Exchange at Camp Pendleton, California, home of the Marine Corps' 1st Marine Division. This was natural as Fallbrook is only 5 miles from Camp Pendleton.

And yes, we started in our garage. Well, actually it was a spare room in our home, but you get the idea. Originally we supplied only screen printed tees and a few gift items. All tees were printed locally. Our products quickly became very popular with shoppers at the stores on base. Also, our company became very popular with store managers and buyers due to our unequaled customer service and product quality.

In 2002, Christine's husband, Bill joined the company after a long, successful career in manufacturing. Bill is an old "jarhead" himself, having served as an enlisted man in the Marines.

It was about this time that managers at Camp Pendleton asked us to supply them with embroidered goods in addition to printed tees. This was uncharted territory, but we decided it was right for us and we agreed to do it.

We partnered with a local embroiderer who had an outstanding reputation for quality and very soon we were the predominant supplier of embroidered logo garments to Camp Pendleton.

Through a lot of hard work, an unwavering commitment to customer service and product quality plus a little luck, we now provide a full line of logo apparel to virtually all of the Marine Corps Exchange stores throughout the the country.

In early 2004, we made a strategic decision to relocate our business from Fallbrook, California to a more central location so we could ensure a continued level of excellent customer service(and be closer to our grandkids). So we moved our operation to the Hill Country of Texas, about 25 miles west of Austin in the ranching community of Dripping Springs(Yes, there are springs and yes, they drip).

It had long been our intention to bring screen printing and embroidery operations in-house but didn't have the opportunity until we moved to Texas. In late 2005, we decided the time was right to do so and and we brought Christine's sons Jeremy and Ryan into the business. Jeremy heads up our screen printing operation and Ryan manages our embroidery. Ryan's wife Becky handles customer service and Jeremy's wife Shelly does screen printing and shop support operations.

In 2007, we decided to approach the US Army and Navy to offer them the opportunity to acquire our products, custom designed, for sale in their stores. To our delight, they enthusiastically agreed and in Sept 2007 we shipped the first of hopefully many orders to the Navy.

At the present time, we have a 10 head 12 station M&R Sportsman E Automatic screen print press, a 6 head/6 station M&R Sidewinder manual printing press and a 6 head Barudan embroidery machine. This equipment, staffed by our family(literally true in our case) of dedicated employees allows us to maintain the same outstanding level of quality and service that has been key to our continued success over the years.

We have also partnered with some of the finest printers and embroiderers in the country (who just happen to live close by) to help handle our high volume requirements. We consider them to be extensions of our own manufacturing operation and they are committed to adhering to our exacting requirements for quality and service.

We currently operate out of a 4,000 sq ft facility in Wimberley, Texas having moved here in May of 2007 in response to our ongoing growth.

In 2006, we adopted the Duty-Calls/ label. This was developed to coordinate with the rollout of our exciting new line of Digital Camo clothing developed for our Marines' families and friends. It's been a huge success for us and you will find our offerings in this site under the category Duty Calls Digital. We have numerous items ranging from Juniors to Toddler, Youth and Infant, in Woodland as well as Desert digital pattern. Take a look. We think you'll like what you see.

We have also commenced adopting the label as a distinctive Marque for our regular line. So when you see the label, you'll know it's from The Meister Company.

Thanks for visiting.
